Berlin (lxlm). A fascinating and spectacular wave of modern lighting design took place in Berlin City October 2008. Historical town's landmarks had different lighting styles and light projections circulating on their surfaces. Space in front of the buildings were 'reinvented'.

Several cultural events nicely planned during the celebration of light focused on the subject 'Light'. Many lightseeing tours with bus, light velo, light ship and light car supported the arrangements, too.

It was a great success for the organizer and for the Berlin City. The event 'Festival Of Lights' sensitized many 'light-visitors' not only for the subject of lighting design but for the power light can have in their life.
